It's a classic country title that's never been exploited. Until now.
Old school, traditional, throwback...whatever they call "real" country is as about as far away from today's Nashville pipeline as you can get. "Burnin' the Bottle" name checks Johnny Cash, Capt. Morgan and Jim Beam in its breathless three-minute sprint. Stinging Telecaster licks provide the twang, and Bob Wire's strident vocals drive home this story about a guy who seeks the answer to his problems at the bottom of a glass.
